The main objective of a seasoning machine is to expose all surfaces of the product to the coating material.

• Uniform Coating: It prevents "hot spots" (areas with too much seasoning) or "bland spots" (areas with no seasoning) by continuously tumbling the product as the flavor is applied.

• Adhesion: It often works by applying the seasoning powder onto a tacky surface (like residual oil from frying or a small amount of atomized oil sprayed just before the seasoning).
